Your first priorities

Keep nearby threats away with Wind Force while you learn the village layout. It costs no Energy, so you can save Energy for powers that require it.

Collect useful loot, combine materials in Crafting, and place suitable items on the Altar. An item in your inventory does not automatically grant its Altar effects.

Manage limited resources

The starting Energy maximum is 5. At the base regeneration setting, you regain one Energy every 60 seconds of running game time. Upgrades and Altar items can change this.

The Altar starts with four slots. Choose effects for the danger you are facing, and keep an eye on items that are consumed at dawn or expire after a set time.

Build a stronger village

Food storage increases with village level. A larger stock helps you prepare for interruptions caused by enemies and frightened or injured Littles.

Use Rainfall when its healing or cleansing effects are needed, rather than treating every problem as a damage race.
